Proton Motor and Skoda Electric join hands to develop, sell, and service fuel cell electric buses – using Proton’s modular HyRange ® systems. Ten prototype buses are expected to be released into Europe in the first quarter of the new year.

Proton Motor has also received a EUR 4.1 million fuel cell order from ebe Europa – an integrator and distributor of electric buses. Proton Motors will deliver fifteen 60 kW fuel cells, which will be used in the JIVE project that plans to deploy 290 fuel cell powered buses within the next two years.
